Retaining Peter was an inspired decision after my wife and I found little time outside of our working schedules to even scratch the surface of looking for a new home. I thought it would be easy, just go online and Bob's your uncle, but to anyone who has experienced the house hunting process, will confirm it is a minefield. Peter spent a lot of time determining what we actually wanted (and didn't want), some of which we hadn't realised ourselves. He vetted hundreds of properties (many of which we would probably have wasted our time viewing) and came up with many that weren't even on the market. 
His knowledge of the market, the business and his subsequent research, enabled him to negotiate a price way below what we would have volunteered, so not only did he save us hundreds of hours, the fee was more than paid for with just the savings he made for us on the price we paid.

My mother was completely daunted by the prospect of selling two flats to buy a more suitable home simultaneously, which for anyone would be a major ordeal.

Peter was brilliant from start to finish. He organised everything for the sale of the flats and liaised with and coordinated the agents throughout. He researched and viewed hundreds of houses and found the perfect house, which suited all my sister’s special requirements. He got very involved in progressing the sales and purchase and resolved many problems between the solicitors. I work full time and my mother cares for her full time, so we just didn’t know where to start and honestly couldn’t have made this move without all Peter’s work and expertise. He turned what was potentially a highly worrying and stressful time into a successful and painless process and just seeing my sister (and Mum) now so happy in their new home is such a huge relieve and fantastic reward.

We contacted Peter to find us a good rental property in London. We didn’t really know where to start. Peter spent a lot of time exploring exactly what we wanted to gain, type of property and location and most importantly the yield and growth we were after.

Peter came up with some great ideas on finance, which enabled us to upgrade our search parameters. He then identified a number of areas projected to grow faster than most due to future infrastructure projects and which were currently undervalued. He condensed the search down to the most appealing places to live and then conducted extensive physical research to flush out less than perfect surrounding aspects or higher service charges etc. He previewed over a hundred apartments, sending us reports, almost daily along with internal and external videos of the better ones. We ended up with what I believe is the best property we could possibly buy. His knowledge of local prices and seasonal trends enabled him to negotiate a great price some way below the listed price (which we really didn’t think the seller would go for) so we were more than happy.

Having a trusted and friendly Londoner to help and advise us with the management and upkeep is invaluable to us. We plan to make another London purchase next year and will definitely be contacting Peter then.

Peter Shaw was invaluable in finding us the right house and his service was extremely professional and thorough from start to finish when finding the right property can be very daunting, he was amazing at sourcing the best properties on the market in the locations we desired. Peter saved us untold time in your tireless pre-vetting of potential houses and through access to his network of real estate professionals.  Initially Peter asked us to work through a very thorough questionnaire to help him ascertain what we were looking for.  Having lived abroad for 13 years and not lived in London for 20 plus years, we really had no idea where to look and our knowledge of areas and markets was very limited, and Peter worked hard to show us different areas and help us in narrowing down our search to a specific location.  Peter would then present us with properties that were recommended for viewing and instigate thorough searches of the surrounding areas to flag up any issues such as long term building work and so on.  Peter also had a very hands on approach and once we had chosen a couple of properties he took it upon himself to visit these roads at differing times of the day to make sure the road was not a cut through or very busy during rush hour for example.  Peter’s negotiating skills were always spot on, he helped us in finding contractors to work with us on the property and he definitely went the extra mile and we were so impressed with his attention to detail and thorough investigations on all fronts.

I contacted Peter as I needed to find a property in London when work meant a major relocation. We had it all well planned, then when certain circumstances changed, our kid's schooling plans had to change along with our final location. 

Peter's attitude and standard of service was impeccable. I briefed him on what our London dream home was and what we really didn't like and then after we totally changed our plans, I briefed him again...this time on something totally different. Within a short time though, he presented us with some options, which lead him to find us a beautiful house in 5 acres of stunning country, that was due to go on the market a week after we viewed it.
